12th February 2005 Windsurfing: Treco Bay Porthcawl Wind Direction: westly Wind Stength: 15-25 Surf / Sea State: some swell, waves Air Temperature: cold Sea Temperature: ok Weather: sunnny, rain,sunny ,rain Max Speed: blew em al Distance Covered: air miles Turned up expecting a big blow , met Dan and the fish , rigged the 4.5m and give it a go , but was a bit underpowered , rerigged the 5.3 , lent Dan the 5.4 ezzy and the fish got the bigger board . Was good for an hr with the wind gragually getting stronger into the afternoon , and started to get really comfy with some good fast gybes inside and out . lots more started to turn up later , Greatrex was back looping well until he went through the middle of his sail , thought maybe he dig out the new one he bought at boot sale last yr ? no change he rigged another old bugger , Wind was lot stronger by 2pm but was to tired and cold to rerig smaller so watched the guys for a while before leaving . |
